Variety type of peanut

According to the shape and skin color of peanut pods and seeds, it can be divided into three categories:
1. Ordinary type: Ordinary peanut stems and branches are thick, angular and hollow. Anthocyanin in the branches is not obvious and green. The main stem is a vegetative branch, not flowering, and belongs to alternate flowering and branching type. There are many lateral branches, often with multiple branches, with a total of more than 20 branches. The leaflets are obovate and the leaves are green or dark green.
2. Multi-grain type: Multi-grain type peanut has upright plant shape and sparse branches. The stem is thick and tall, and there are 4 ~ 5 vegetative branches in the stem of the main stem. In the early stage, it grows upright, and in the later stage, it inclines to all sides. Each node can grow flower branches, with few and long branches and few secondary branches, but there is no third branching phenomenon, and there are sparse and long hairs on the stem branches. There are mostly anthocyanins, which are red or purple in the middle and late stages. Cotyledons are large, veins are obvious, and leaves are light green or green and dark green. The flowering period is long, the number is large, and it belongs to the continuous flowering type, with many ineffective flowers in the middle and upper parts, high needle forming rate in the aboveground parts and low fruiting rate in the soil. Pods are mostly beaded, with thick shell, smooth reticulate pattern, inconspicuous mouth and waist, and most pods contain 3 ~ 4 seeds. Seeds are irregular or triangular, conical or cylindrical. There are sections adjacent to the seeds. The seed coat is mostly red or purple.
3. Pearl bean type: This type of peanut has thick and tufted stems, erect and compact plant type. The main stem is higher with fewer branches, and the total number of branches per plant is less than 10. Stem anthocyanin is not obvious, light in color and yellow-green. Small leaves are larger, oval, light green or yellow-green. Early flowering, 7 true leaves of the main stem began to blossom, and the main stem bloomed. It belongs to continuous flowering and branching type. Concentrated flowering, short flowering period, less flowers, generally 50 ~ 80 flowers per plant, early bud differentiation, low node position, underground flowers, collectively referred to as erect peanuts. The pods are small, cocoon-shaped or gourd-shaped. The shell is thin, the reticulate pattern is thin, the mouth is obvious, the nuts are mostly peach-shaped and the peel is mostly pink.
